Project Highlights
To facilitate RGNUL initially setup was done on LIBSYS server on Cloud as local server was under procurement at RGNUL. Later on the whole system was smoothly shifted to Linux based server at RGNUL campus. The implementation has been delivered at a fast pace and most of the core modules became fully functional within few months. The academics data of over 700 students has been successfully migrated to LIBSYS ERP.
On the academic front the whole curriculum setup and examination processing of a law university has been successfully delivered through LIBSYS ERP. Handling of Regular Examination, Re-appear and Re-evaluation, along with special feature of grace marks have been provided to RGNUL. Several reports have been customized like, Provisional Certificate, Degree, etc. The result from 2010 batch to current batch has been generated successfully with customization provided to meet RGNUL specific needs. QR code integration has been done with Mark Sheets.
Students have been provided a dynamic Students Portal which they are using actively especially for applying for leaves and viewing their attendance details. Through this portal online fee payment facility has been provided with the integration of payment gateway.
The Payroll Module is being successfully used for generation of salary of the staff. Integration with biometric attendance recording system has been done. Modules like Guest House, Health Centre are also implemented. Biometric integration with LIBSYS ERP has been implemented for student's hostel attendance also.
In the classrooms the students’ attendance is marked by the teachers through LIBSYS ERP Mobile App available on their smart-phones / tablets which makes their task very easy and saves a lot of time. Student leave and attendance has been integrated with academic performance through special features like ‘Leave Benefits’, ‘Short Attendance’ and ‘Leave Fine’.
Through Health Management Module the doctor’s appointment schedules, prescription details, medicine allotment and medical reimbursements are handled smoothly. The Campus Security Module is being used to manage the records of visitors and the duty schedules of security guards.
LIBSYS ERP Financial Accounting module has successfully been implemented, which provides rapid voucher entry and effortless period-end closing and has greatly eased the work of the accounts department.
RGNUL is also extensively using the Bulletins facility of the software to send circulars/notices to all or specific groups of students/staff.
The implementation team of LIBSYS ERP has provided dedicated support and full cooperation to the staff of RGNUL and has been appreciated by the management of the university.
As such, we can proudly say that LIBSYS ERP is not only meeting the requirements of RGNUL Patiala but is fully ready to meet the requirements of any law university/institute.
